COVID19 Vaccine Information

Phase 1B will specifically include those below who choose to be vaccinated:

 

  • Ohioans, age 65 and up.
  • Ohioans born with or who have early childhood conditions that are carried into adulthood which put them at a higher risk for adverse outcomes due to COVID-19.
  • Sickle cell anemia.
  • Down syndrome.
  • Cystic fibrosis.
  • Muscular dystrophy.
  • Cerebral palsy.
  • Spina bifida.
  • People born with severe heart defects, requiring regular specialized medical care.
  • People with severe type 1 diabetes, who have been hospitalized for this in the past year.
  • Phenylketonuria (PKU), Tay-Sachs, and other rare, inherited metabolic disorders.
  • Epilepsy with continuing seizures; hydrocephaly; microcephaly, and other severe neurological disorders.
  • Turner syndrome, fragile X syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, and other severe genetic disorders.
  • People with severe asthma, who have been hospitalized for this in the past year.
  • Alpha and beta thalassemia
  • Solid organ transplant candidates and recipients.
  • Adults/employees in K-12 schools that want to go back, or to remain, educating in person.

Center Street Community Health Center has received limited supplies of COVID-19 vaccines from the Ohio Department of Health. These vaccines are available, not only to our patients, but to the community as well! If you currently qualify to receive the vaccine (Phase 1B, below) please call 740-751-6380 ext 303 to get scheduled or to receive more information. Ohio is currently in Phase 1B of the vaccine distribution. Below you will find the specifics of all that qualify and can choose to receive their vaccines at this time. As has been the case over the past year, the situation is fluid, so check back often to see if there are any updates as we move forward! Beginning Thursday, March 4, individuals within Phase 1C and Phase 2 are eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. We will update the list right here the morning of March 4th.
